The Pasadena Model Railroad Museum, established in 1984, is a unique institution that not only serves as a museum but also houses the Pasadena Model Railroad Research Center. This ongoing project, supported by donations, has resulted in a large collection of reference materials and model railroad magazines, making it a valuable historical resource. The museum is home to the Sierra Pacific Lines, an HO-scale model railroad that is one of the largest in the world. The museum is open to the public on the third Sunday of every month, providing visitors with the opportunity to see the Sierra Pacific Lines in action.
