About
Blum is a contemporary art gallery with a diverse range of artists and estates. The gallery exhibition program includes a variety of projects each year, including exhibitions, artist projects, and public installations. Blum has a global gallery presence with branches in major art hubs such as New York, London, Hong Kong, Paris, Athens, and Gstaad. The gallery is continually committed to expanding the representation of unique voices and introducing new paths vital to the historical canon.
Blum has had a rich history of representing artists and estates since Peter Blum’s involvement with the art world in 1971 as a gallerist and publisher of limited edition prints and books. This dedication to the field of contemporary art can be seen in the diversity of the exhibition program starting from the early 90s that has included such artists as John Cage, Louise Bourgeois, Peter Fischli and David Weiss, Alex Katz, Imi Knoebel, Yayoi Kusama, Josephsohn, Sherrie Levine, Richard Long, Sol LeWitt, Eric Orr, Stephan Reusse, Andres Serrano, and many others. The gallery programs today reflect this commitment with the gallery’s depth and continue to tell the story of contemporary art.
